Blisters, specifically painless ones, on the skin can be caused by many things (such as sweating, physical activity, infection, or many other skin conditions). We assume you are talking about true blisters, which are raised bumps filled with fluid, and not just scaling skin. From your description, it sounds as if they are primarily on your fingers but may be in other areas as well.
In order to specifically help you find the cause of your blisters, you will need to see your doctor. The most important part of your doctor’s visit will be the examination of the blisters themselves. The doctor will be able to see the size and color of the blisters, as well as any pattern or location. This exam will enable the proper diagnosis and treatment for you.
Before you see the doctor, it will be important not to ‘pop’ the blisters, which may allow fluid to be released, for if infectious that could lead to the spread of the blisters. Also, do not use any lotions directly on the blisters, as this could actually make them worse. If they are interfering with your daily activities, you might want to place a bandage on them, if possible.
