I had poison ivy. But now that it’s gone, I have a skin discoloration where the rash was. Is this normal? How can I make it go away?
   
A:
Almost any injury to the skin, such as a rash, a scrape or a burn, can result in skin discoloration that may take weeks or months to resolve. Let your skin heal itself – there’s nothing you can do to speed up the process.
