Gangs
I’m a 14-year-old boy and I’ve gone through a lot lately. Last year (7th grade) I was suspended from school about 20 times. This year, I was expelled from school for having marijuana in my locker and I’m being home-schooled. I’m doing better with my anger but I still instigate fights and I’m thinking of being in a gang. I smoke weed and drink alcohol but I don’t really see it as a problem. I’m thinking about joining a gang, but then I might go to juvenile hall because of my record. What should I do?
Almost eight months ago, my friend and I were attacked by a group of girls. Now, I’m always thinking about it and worrying it’ll happen again. What should I do?
About a month ago a few guys tried to jump me after school in an alley. They said I owed them money for marijuana they said I took. About two weeks later I saw one of the kids who tried to jump me and I pulled a knife on him. The guy now wants to fight me. What should I do?
The other day in school my class was talking about racism and a lot of the girls in my class are racist. I said that we are all equal and after class some of them beat me up and warned me not to tell anyone. A teacher asked me to tell her who beat me up. I’m afraid to say who did it. What should I do?
My boyfriend is in a gang and he recently gave me a gun to protect myself because he is afraid other gang members will hurt me. How can I get him out of the gang safely?
A friend of mine gave me a handgun. He said it would be a good thing for me and that it's the best form of protection. I personally don't want it, what should I do?
I’m 13 and my boyfriend was in a gang. Last week he was shot and killed. I don’t know what to do. I never thought this would happen. I feel bad because I didn’t get to tell him how I really feel. To make it worse, I don’t get along with my family and I’m all alone. I’m thinking about taking my life so I can be with him. What should I do?
I was in a gang, but I no longer associate with my fellow peers. The gang is now threatening me. I called the police, but they said they couldn’t do anything. I almost got in a fight with one of them the other day. What should I do?
I’m a 17-year-old girl and I want to join a gang because I’m shy and I don't make friends that easily. I think gangs are cool and it’s a great way to make a ton of friends, boyfriends and cash. What do you think?
A lot of my friends are in gangs. I was in one and I got out. I try to help my friends change there minds about the gangs and get out, but they won't listen. What can I do to help?
What should I do to protect myself against a gang of pot-heads? I have already gotten into a fight with two of them. What should I do?
I read that gangs recruit members at a young age. What are some of the signs of gang involvement?
At my school I see knives and small handguns all around, but nobodies getting caught. I've thought of carrying one for protection from the other kids. Is that OK?
What effect does human hormone have on a teens emotional state?
