I have been diagnosed by my GYN with dysplasia. Is it curable and will I have it for the rest of my life? I am a 15-year-old female.
I was circumcised at 14 months old. I think the doctor took more skin off the underside of my penis than the top. The top has wrinkly skin, but the bottom does not. Sometimes it hurts when I get an erection like the skin is being pulled too much. Will my skin grow enough during puberty that this will go away or will I always be in pain?
I have never had an adolescent physical and all my friends at school talk about them. Do I need to get one? How do I ask my parents to let me get one without being embarrassed, because we don't talk about sex and stuff like that?

I’m 14. I went for a physical at school, and they failed me! The doctor found a lump in my neck. Blood work showed that I have a hypothyroid. Now they want to do more tests. Could this be the reason why I’m short and haven’t started my periods?

I am 17 and I haven't been having a period for the last 3.5 years. I always lied about it to my doctors, because I was ashamed of it. When I tried the pills for about 3 months I received what is called a "fake period." After about 2 weeks I got on the Depo-Provera® shot. I didn't have a period like usual, but about 1 month after the shot was out of my system I had one. Am I all right? I had a pelvic exam and they didn't find any thing wrong, am I having an early case of Menopause?
I am 19 and have been sexually active since I was 17. I had a pelvic exam and ever since I have had bleeding during/after intercourse. Not all the time, but the majority of the time. Why is this happening and what I should do?
How often should a teen have a physical examination?

I am a 13-year-old uncircumcised male and I have a tight foreskin. Is a doctor supposed to pull back a tight foreskin during a physical? It really hurt, and after, I found out it hurt to touch my penis directly (the part without skin covering). How does a doctor check a boy’s testicles? Does he check the prostate? The last time I had a physical, I had a major erection. Is this normal?
Can a doctor tell from a physical examination if a girl has masturbated (having never been involved in any other type of sexual activity)?
I understand the importance of having a physical by your doctor, but I really don't feel comfortable with anyone touching me in certain places. I had a male doctor and I now have a female, but I still feel uncomfortable. Is there anything I can do to help my fear? I'm only 16. Shouldn’t I be comfortable with this sort of thing?
During a physical for track, I was told that I have a grade 2 systolic heart murmur. I've never been told this and now the doctor won't let me race until I see a cardiologist. I was wondering if this would affect my ability to race? How worried I should be about this murmur?
About a month ago, I had a wet dream and it looked bloody. Should I tell my doctor about this? If so, what tests will be performed?

Can a doctor tell if I’ve smoked before?

I’m scared of needles and have missed most of my vaccinations at school because I’ve been too scared to go through with them. My mum has found out and is taking me to the doctor to have them all done. I know I have to go but I don't know what to expect or how much they’ll hurt? Will the doctor think I’m stupid for being scared?

I'm a 14-year-old female. During my period last month I had a lump on the side of my breast. My mom said it was normal and I was just growing. It hasn't gone away. Do you think it's something else?
I'm 16 and 5 months ago I tore my medial meniscus in my left knee. For almost three weeks straight my leg was in convulsing spasms. It stopped for four months but just started again after I started using a different inhaler for my asthma. Could my new inhaler be causing this? The new inhaler is a steroid drug.
I am 15 and do not have a history of diabetes on either side of family. I have been "covered" with the diagnosis of hypoglycemia. I am being used as a guinea pig because my doctors don't seem to know what the problem is. I'm sick of all of this stuff and all they have done is put me on iron pills, and I'm still suffering. Is there anything to do, all I know is that I'm getting worse(lungs, brain, vision, heart the whole bit). Any advice?
