My best friend is moving. We have been best friends since the 1st grade (6 1/2 years). She thinks we’ll be able to stay in contact (she’s moving to Florida and I live in Connecticut.) What should I do?

I'm deaf and go to a school with people who can hear. I don't have friends there. I think it's because they don't know how to talk to me. What should I do to make some friends?

My mom wants my sister and me to move to Arizona so she can be with her boyfriend. We live in California right now and that is where all our family lives. My friends have always been there for me when my mom wasn't. How can I convince my mom I don’t want to move?
