Stomach
For about a week I’ve been getting stomachaches a lot. I’ve heard this could be appendicitis. I’ve started my periods. What could it be?
My stomach growls after I have eaten and most of the time it growls when I don’t feel hungry. Can you please tell why this happens?
Sometimes I get really bad stomach pains just below my belly button. It feels like I have to fart, but when I do I poop out liquidy poop instead. How can I treat this? Is this because of stress or is it a normal-don’t-need-to-worry-about-it thing?
I'm a 16-year-old girl. When I had a bowel movement, only yellow mucus came out. It looked like I blew my nose on the toilet paper. What could it be?
I'm 17 and I have an embarrassing condition. I have gas all the time. How can I get rid of it?
I have pain in my back, stomach, neck and chest. I have a low grade temp off and on. My left arm also gets stiff and is painful to move. I am very tired and feel very weak. What could be wrong?
I am 13-year-old girl. I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, but I’m always constipated. Is it normal to always have problems going to the bathroom?
I have an ulcer. What caused this and what's the best way to treat it?
I am a 17-year-old girl and lately I have been feeling nauseous. I have lost my appetite and I can barely eat sometimes. I have horrible stomachaches and diarrhea. I also have quite a few bruises on my knees. My mom thinks it is stress. What's wrong with me?
After eating dinner, my stomach starts to bulge out a little, sometimes a lot. Is this normal, or does it mean I am eating too much?
I am 13 years old and have an outie bellybutton. Are there any exercises to help me get an innie? I’ve pushed it and there seems to be nothing behind it. I feel like a freak.
If you feel hungry and your stomach's grumbling, is that good? Are you burning more calories? Or, does it just mean you need food?
I had my tongue pierced and swallowed the stud. How dangerous is it?
I’ve had really bad stomachaches ever since I was little. Some days it’s so bad I can't move. I’ve been to the doctor and taken a urine test, but the doctor says I’m fine. I can't be imagining it. What’s wrong?
I've been on the pill for approximately 5 months. Recently, I have been getting headaches, stomach pains and chest pains. Is this serious? Could it be related to the birth control pills?
I am seriously overweight. I'm a 16-year-old girl and have been under the treatment of my doctor for my weight for some time now. I recently saw a TV show talking about the surgery to reduce the size of the stomach. There was a girl on the show who was my age and she had the procedure. I realize this surgery carries a lot of complications, but it's something I would like to discuss with my doctor. What are your thoughts on this procedure?
I'm 17 years old and for the past six months, I’ve been having stomach problems. My stomach always hurts for some reason no matter what and I have diarrhea very often. Could this be stress?
I am a 13-year-old girl, and I have really bad diarrhea. I've had this bad diarrhea for a few months now and it happens after I eat breakfast and lunch. However, it doesn’t happen on the weekends. I also have stomach pains, but not that often. What's going on with me?
I am a 14-year-old female. I swim 4-5 hours a day. I've had hypoglycemia for about three months. It’s hard for me to eat every two to three hours. I sometimes get dizzy during my afternoon swim practice. How important is it to control my hypoglycemia? How serious could it be?
I’ve had diarrhea for the past four weeks. I don’t think it’s food poisoning. Could it be stress?
When I was little, I had pinworms a few times. Sometimes they went away by themselves, and other times they needed medication. I think I have them again. I know they are a common problem, but why did I get them so often?
Why is the stomach bug more widespread in the winter months than during the summer?
I'm 17 years old and I take medicine for acid reflux. It doesn't cure everything, and my doctor says I need to change my diet and get away from acidic foods. That really limits my food selection. Is their any way to make this easier?
If you get pinworms, and don’t know you have them, could they go away without treatment?
I have been constipated for four days and I have tried laxatives and suppositories. Would an enema work?
I've been having a pounding pain in the lower left and right side of my stomach and the upper left and right side of my back. I have also had pain in my waist when I bend down. Could it be the way I sleep or something else?
I have a pain in my lower left side of my stomach. I've had two ultrasounds and they still don't know what it is. They said it might be a cyst on my ovary, but that it's unlikely because I'm on the pill. I’m always tired, feel like I’m going to be sick and have really bad headaches. I’ve had sex and wonder if it may be mono or another type of STD?
I am a 15-year-old female. The hernia surgery I had as a child has caused me to develop a small pouch. What can I do to get rid of it?
I've been having terrible stomach pains for about two weeks now. The pain is worse in the morning and then fades, but is still noticeable. It feels like I'm going to have diarrhea, but when I get into the bathroom, nothing happens, please tell me what is wrong?
I play in my school band and there is one piccolo. For about 3 months I have shared this instrument with another girl. She recently got Mono. I've been scared that I could have it. The teacher sterilized the piccolo, but lately I've had two separate incidents of diarrhea and I constantly have bad stomachaches and cramps.
I have a severe problem with using the bathroom regularly. But I don't eat that much, because I used to always be on the run, and I wanted to lose weight, too. So now that my stomach has shrunk, I have trouble doing the number two, even once a week. I have even gone for a month without going, and then it was with the use of a laxitive and suppository. Could I have an intestinal problem, or something of that sort? Sould I go to a doctor? Is this an emergency?
